(1) The Government of Nepal shall appoint any employee who is generally in the service of the Government of Nepal or in the service of the Authority as the executive head for the operation of the Authority.
(2) The term of office of the Director General shall be four years and he shall be eligible for re-appointment if the Government of Nepal so desires.
(3) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-section (2), the Government of Nepal may, if it wishes, remove the Director General from his post even if the term of office is not completed.
(4) The Authority may appoint other consultants and employees as required.
(5) The service conditions and facilities of the director general, advisors and other employees of the authority will be as prescribed.
